More Seasons of Joy

Just another couple of cards from this beautiful set, got the original idea somewhere on Splitcoaststampers, then tweaked it and shared. This is a very quick card and not complicated, the flower is covered in crystal effects, with rhinestones in the middle and popped up on dimensionals, and behind the flower another flower has been stamped in Always Artichoke to look like leaves and some swirls from the set added. I have again used the Designer Paper Series Holiday Harmony on the one on the left.

Not sure which one I like best? What do you think....

Seasons of Joy

Hi All,

It took some working out but I think I finally figured out how to upload a pic from my camera! Then I even found a little setting that allowed me to shrink it for blogs.... makes ALL the Hate getting a new computer, nothing works and no one is there to help!

This card is from my favourite set "Seasons of Joy" and was one of the cards Yvonne Campbell showed us in her Christmas Stamp Club. She is such a talented lady, and I thank her for inspiring me so much, please click on this link to visit her site. Once you go there you will NEVER Return!

This is such an amazing set, and can make so many different Christmas cards, I will show you a few over the next few posts. I love that we can use my favourite ribbon Purely Pomegranate with most Christmas cards, it is so elegant and lets the most simple card look Wow!

Hope the picture is not too dark and you can see this ok? add bling (which I luv) I have pressed the brads onto mini glue dots, then dipped them in glitter before placing them in the centre of the snowflakes. Then the outside dots of the snowflakes are dotted with crystal effects. The Christmas tree is done using the rock and roll technique and then dazzling diamonds applied with the 2 way glue pen.

Stamps: Seasons of Joy
Paper: DSP Holiday Harmony
Ink: Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate, River Rock
Other: PP Ribbon, brads, 2 way glue pen, SU Rose glitter (from US), Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, mini glue dots.

This is my first ever card post, let me know what you think, did I give you enough info?

My Tall Dark Handsome Handsome Handsome Paul

I did promise you I would find you a photo of my Handsome Handsome Handsome Hubby! Well here he is at the Blue Mountains, on our 25th Anniversary. Not a really exciting place I can here you say, but we have teenagers, and didn't want to leave them home alone for too long... ha ha. And besides anywhere, anyplace, any weather, anytime alone with Paul is just wonderful.

Now I'm off to try and take some photos of my cards, so I can upload something you REALLY want to look at :-) Or maybe not? Once you see my cards you might prefer the family shots!

First Official Post!

Hey all you very keen visitors !

If you've been having a little look see at my blog, please forgive the lack of content, but I am still building this and know very little about doing what I'm doing....ha ha. I've been slowly building it, but had no idea it was up and running and available for all to see.

Hopefully, during the next few weeks, I will have some really cool stuff up here for you to actually have a look at. But first I must figure out what I'm doing, and why my computer won't recognise my card out of my camera? Then I can upload some photos!

Meanwhile this one is already on my computer and is one of my favourite photos, it's of my beautiful Princess .... Jasmine.

What do you think isn't she just gorgeous! Takes after her good looking Daddy... will have to find a good photo of him and show you .... tall, dark and handsome, handsome, handsome!
